Hubs and I have started on the Food Lovers Fat Loss System . We had watched info-mercials on it several times and then just decided to give it a try.
We started this past Monday morning (Feb 21) and so far I am pleased with the system. I have lost about 2.5 pounds and not sure how much D has lost but he has lost.
The thing I really like about it is the fact that no foods are off limits. I HAVE to have my sweets and I know I am not going to give them up for the rest of my life to be slim. Just not going to happen.
For those who have never heard of this system you basically eat a protein, a slow carb, and a fast carb at your 3 main meals and have a 100 to 200 (100 to 300 for men) calorie snack between meals. The snacks can be anything you want you just need to keep watch on what the calories are. Most snacks now a days are prepackaged so that you can easily know what calorie count they are. Working for me.
It seems strange that by eating every 2 to 3 hours you can lose weight. That goes against everything that we have ever heard about losing weight. Of course, it does matter what and how much you eat, although you are not counting calories.
In addition to the program I am dong my Wii Fit Plus every morning (or nearly every morning, I have trouble with the weekends). I try to do about 23 to 27 minutes. This morning I ended up doing 54 minutes as I was doing the Island Cycling Advanced and I got totally lost, LOL. How can one get lost in a game? I could see where I was to go for the finish line, I just could not get there. I "cycled" for 7.283 miles. Bad day for points but good day for calorie burn.
I'll try to keep track on here of how I do.
