Last Saturday I went to urgent care with what we thought were flu symptons plus I had a finger that was red and a bit swollen. The doctor said my finger was an infection due to a hangnail. They gave me meds for the flue, shots for the pain and nausea and sent me home. By the time we got out of urgent care the pharmacy was closed so I wasn't able to get my antibiotic until the next morning.

Sunday when I woke my finger was even more swollen and hurting so Dale dosed me and went on to church.

Monday morning it was really hurting and I knew I had to go back to a doctor so we went and she gave me a shot and told me to soak it in warm epsom salt water and come back Wednesday, So today when I went in to see her she had done some research and feels that it is cat scratch fever, which makes much more sense than a hangnail. So I got another shot and have to watch not to break the water blisters on it and come back again Friday if it hasn't improved.

So, don't you think my finger is lovely? It is a pain, big time.
